Your title’s reference to corpse juice and your idea that oil is the most influential nonhuman consciousness affecting humanity makes me think that perhaps oil is more like raging hormones in the body of Earth. Maybe Earth is a teenager and that’s why it’s the teenagers that have responded with their movement. This teenage Earth needs the help of parents and Elders etc. maybe there’s a short story or poem in that. I’ll let you know if I come up with something. Thanks for the inspiration :)
