It’s interesting to me that interviews are such a good way for people to find my work, because they are by definition off-the-cuff and not well thought through, whereas the actual essays are carefully edited so as not to waste the readers’ time. Nonetheless, I have enjoyed the opportunity to talk through my ideas, be challenged, and so on.
