The Kochs, I've found, are the contemporary industrialists with the most comprehensive understanding of the petrochemical lifecycle and the sociopoliticoeconomic power of oil. Charles Koch uses different language to describe his philosophy but it's arguably close to your vital materialism.

So isn't it worth countering him on his own terms; to be able to argue against him in a way that he comprehends? The key difference between him and I is that I'm saying that oil is basically Evil, in a religious and moral sense, and therefore that I consider him an agent of, if not Satan himself, but of a set if anti-Human Jinn (evil Jinn) that is closely allied with Iblis. I'm sure he wouldn't like that. I could put it in Christian terms instead of Islamic terms if it would piss him off more.

Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver is a very effective fable in this regard.

Using Islamic terminology to explain the Kochs and other petro-oligarchs would certainly be more amusingly antagonizing to the contemporary right than Christian terms.
